By installing a fully integrated 4x4 suspension system, you can dramatically improve the safety and handling of your vehicle. Old Man Emu manufactures these suspension replacement parts in Australia. These suspension parts are designed to replace the original factory springs, shocks, polyurethane bushings, steering stabilizer for some application Ubolts and shackles, greasable shackles & pins are available. Old Man Emu components are designed to use your existing mounts.

In addition to providing lifts Old Man Emu Suspension enhances ride quality, articulation and longevity. Package includes polyurethane bushings springs, greasable shackles & pins, gas shocks and steering stabilizer (sway bar extenders when applicable).

Old Man Emu suspension systems include carefully matched spring and shock combinations engineered to improve vehicle ride quality, handling and control under various loads. We recommend you change both shock and springs at the same time. Special attention is given to improving suspension travel without adversely affecting driveline and steering geometry. In most cases, multiple spring rates and shock valving characteristics are available for each application to accommodate vehicle variations and driving preferences. Although ride height and tyre size are taken into consideration with each system, the emphasis is placed on vehicle performance and versatility.

You will note that springs and shocks are provided for different load rating, to support your specific application, allowing you the additional capability if you have changed the engine, installed a larger bumper or winch. (1) '83 and on wide track CJ Jeeps require bush kit OMEB27 on bottom front and all Cherokee wagons and Mahindra on bottom front and rear.
(2) Lower shock mount stone guards are recommened fitment to rear shocks to protect against severe stone peppering encountered on loose road surfaces. OME 661 (suit LandCruiser 80 & 100 Series only.) OME 660 (All other models).
(3) '81 on F100 and Bronco require bush kit OMEB27 on bottom rear mount.
(4) Ford Dual Shocks. N43 fitted in front of N52F.
(5) It may be necessary to slightly increase the clearance in the front wishbone to allow the shock absorber to fit. Do not modify the shock absorber.
(6) FK16 20mm bump stop spacer kit MANDATORY fitment.
(7) FK18 rear sway bar extension bracket is MANDATORY fitment with Nitrochargers to prevent damage to sway bar due to increased wheel travel.
(8) N75E and N68E are 20mm longer and must only be installed to right hand side.
(9) FK17 support brackets must be welded to upper shock mounting brackets on late 96 on models manufactured in Thailand
(10) OME030 is shorter than OME029 and must be used with OE coils to ensure coils remain entrapped.
(11) OMEB11 bush kit is required to convert lower 19mm bush to 16mm.
(12) OMESD40 will only fit left hand drive models.
(13) To obtain maximum ride qulity improvement it is recommended that an OME replacement stabiliser bar (OMESTAB1) is fitted.
(14) Fitment of OME662 rear stone flaps are mandatory fitment to prevent damage from stone peppering.
(15) NC120 & NC122 are a replacable insert.
