Could you please tell me how a HM282 5 speed Transaxle comes apart I have all bolts out and have it broken apart but there seems to be something keeping it from completely seperating.

Mustang Cobra Transmission

Question: I have a 1991 Mustang GT, I'm looking to replace the trans in my fox body this summer. Someone told me that Borg Warner makes a new T5 that has the cobra first and second gears in them. It should be a direct bolt up replacement to my old busted Tremec T5. I know there are T5's for the 94-95 Cobras but they require different input shaft, i'm pretty sure. Can you help me out?

Question: 101K miles, Seems to be stuck in 3rd gear (?) won't shift. (No service lights) 2300RPM - 40 MPH, 2600 - 50MPH, 3,000 - 60 MPH.
