Different overhaul kits are available depending on the extent of the overhaul that
you plan, the contents of the kits are described as follows:
Information and parts are provided for the following Transmission: Isuzu 4 Speed (RWD)
IDENTIFICATION - Aluminum end loaded case with integral
bellhousing. The transfer case is cast iron and a "PTO" design that is
on the right side of the transmission. Note: The kits listed below DO NOT cover the
early units that have an inspection cover on the top of the case.
For 1976-1982 models that have a somewhat round 4-bolt bearing retainer covering
only the front inputshaft bearing, and in which the front countershaft bearing is
a Torrington "cup" needle bearing - use K100117.
For 1982-1987 models, EXCEPT Chevy S10, that have a 6-bolt bearing retainer covering
both the inputshaft bearing and countershaft bearing and the front countershaft bearing
is a ball bearing - use K100117
For 1982-1987 Chevy S10 - use K100112
