Mitsubishi KM 4 & 5 Speed (FWD) Manual Transmission Parts

These quality Mitsubishi KM series 4 and 5 seed front wheel drive manual transmission parts, rebuild kits and overhaul kits are designed to be top of the line overhaul kits for the popular F5M22, F5M31, F5M33 and W5MG1. Different overhaul kits are available depending on the extent of the overhaul that you plan, the contents of the kits are described as follows:

• MRK Kit (FWD): Main case bearings, gaskets, seals, kits may also include nuts, dogs & wires, thrust bearings, extension housing bushing, small parts kit, shifter bushings however miscellaneous parts will vary by transmission. Syncro rings are sold separately in sets.

IDENTIFICATION -- KM160 Series: Aluminum 2-piece case with solid rear case. The 4 speed units have four synchro rings. The 5 speeds have six synchro rings and are not synchronized in reverse. The 5 speeds have three shafts and are shifted onto 5th, high/low or AWD by a series of vacuum acctuated valves.

KM200 / FM Series: Aluminum 2-piece case with a rear cover on the back of the case. The 5 speeds have five synchro rings unless they have synchronized reverse. The 1st and 2nd synchro rings are different from each other. These units have three shafts.
