We are excited to introduce one of the best winch programs in the industry. This is due to the line’s popularity (used in Jeeps, trucks, and many other applications). And because of this huge potential, we have done a lot of preliminary work to make sure our winches are the best quality and value in the market. For example, we have dedicated the longest development time in Omix’s history to develop this line. • History of our interest in having a winch line: We have studied winches for years for possible adding the line to our offering. We even considered acquiring a winch company, but in the end we realized that to achieve the best quality and value we had to develop our own winch.
• Development, Engineering, and Testing: Rugged Ridge winches have been developed under our engineering team’s supervision, manufactured by one of the best winch experts in the industry, and tested by an independent third party engineering firm at their testing facility to make sure that we can say these are the best winches in their category in the industry.
• Recovery Gear Product line: We already have some recovery gear products in our offering, and with the addition of the winch line, we are enhancing this product category in order
to complete all the essential products and accessorize our winches.

It is driven by a durable 5.5 HP Series Wound motor for long life and extra pulling power. SYNTHETIC WINCH ROPE 
Why Synthetic Rope?
Stronger and lighter, the two key elements of Synthetic Rope that make it the choice of competition off road vehicles everywhere. Rugged Ridge high strength Synthetic Winch Rope is constructed from genuine Dyneema SK-75 fi ber imported from the Netherlands. This revolutionary fiber is the choice of off-road enthusiast worldwide. It is stronger and lighter than wire rope and never kinks or splinters! Our synthetic line is woven from twelve UV-treated strands, resulting in increased strength, and a power to weight ratio unmatched by wire rope. Each synthetic rope comes with a protective sleeve that prevents it from over heating on the winch drum, black powder coated latched hook, stainless steel thimble, and is pre-terminated end for ease of installation. Synthetic rope does not store energy like steel cables, and in the event of a failure it is much less likely to result in severe injuries caused by the whiplash of broken wire rope.

Heavy Duty Snatch Block Pulley
Use the Rugged Ridge
Snatch Block Pulley to double your winch capacity! This durable 8” long
pulley is constructed from 3/16” cold rolled steel and is suitable for
use up to 20,000lbs. For use with winch cables up to 3/8” in diameter.
The pulley can be used to double the capacity for your winch, or to
reduce the strain on the winch motor and your electrical system. For
recovery operations were a straight pull is not viable option, the
pulley helps change the angle of your pull.

Winch Line Dampener
Safety is the most import part
of any off-road recovery operation. The Rugged Ridge Winch Line
Dampener helps reduce the risk of injury due to recoil in the in event
of a winch line or recovery strap failure. The dampener is manufactured
from durable vinyl and features heavy-duty storage pockets, and a
reflective band. It folds up for easy storage and can been worn as a
safety vest. Fits all winch cables and recovery straps up to 3” wide.
Simply place the dampener on your recovery line and add weight to the
pockets to help absorb energy, and reduce the whip of failed winch
cable.
