The following information is provided to assist
you in recognition of the problem based on your clutch performance symptoms, correct
diagnostics eliminates solving problem(s) that you may or may not have:
Clutch Squeaks:
1. Clutch pedal rubbing floor board
2. Not enough pedal to floor board clearance
3. Defective or loose motor mounts
4. Defective or worn throwout bearing
5. Lack of clearance between tips of release levers
and throwout bearing
6. Loose thrust washer on main dive gear
7. Bend main drive gear
8. Release parts not lubricated
9. Misalignment between engine, clutch and transmission
10. Rubbing between pressure plate and cover
