Different overhaul kits are available depending
on the extent of the overhaul that you planning, the contents of the kits are
described as follows:

DTSBKXXX Kits (RWD): Main case bearings,
gaskets, seals. You may also want to add new bearing retainer, nuts, dogs
& wires, extension housing bushing, small parts kit, shifter bushings.
Syncro rings are not included in these kits.

DTSBKXXXWS Kits (RWD): Main case
bearings, gaskets, seals. You may also want to add bearing retainer, nuts,
dogs & wires, extension housing bushing, small parts kit, shifter
bushings. Syncro rings are included in these kits.
Information and parts are provided for the following Mitsubishi Transmissions:
Mitsubishi KM 4 & 5 Speed (RWD), an illustrated parts
drawing for the D50/KM132 and Model V5MT1 is provided.
IDENTIFICATION -- 4 Cylinder: Aluminum bottom loaded case with Integral bell
housing and a square steel cover on the bottom. It is widely used and can be
easily swapped with other units that may be externally the same but with different
bearing arrangements inside. In order to insure accuracy when ordering kits
you may need to inspect internally.
6 Cylinder: Cast iron top loaded case with a 6-bolt "PTO" cover on
the left side and a separate bell housing Top cover is aluminum with three plugs
in front. 1997 models may have an aluminum end loaded 2-piece case with a center
bearing retainer plate and a separate bell housing All V6 applications are 4X4
only.
KM131 4 speed transmission used in Dodge D50 trucks from
1983-85
KM132 5speed, 2wd, transmission used in Dodge D50 trucks
from 1983 and up
KM145 5 speed, 4wd transmission used in Dodge D50 trucks
from 1983 to present. These same transmissions are found in Mitsubishi trucks also.
