Different overhaul kits are available depending on the extent of the overhaul that you planning, the contents of the kits are described as follows:
DTSBKXXX Kits (RWD): Main case bearings, gaskets, seals. You may also want to add new bearing retainer, nuts, dogs & wires, extension housing bushing, small parts kit, shifter bushings. Syncro rings are not included in these kits.
DTSBKXXXWS Kits (RWD): Main case bearings, gaskets, seals. You may also want to add bearing retainer, nuts, dogs & wires, extension housing bushing, small parts kit, shifter bushings. Syncro rings are included in these kits.

Transmissions: Mitsubishi
KM 4 & 5 Speed (FWD), an illustrated parts drawing is provided for Model F4M21 & F5M21. Parts
drawing for Model F5M22 parts drawing for Model F5M33

drawing for Model KM163 are provided.
IDENTIFICATION -- KM160 Series: Aluminum 2-piece case with solid rear case.
The 4 speed units have four syncro rings. The 5 speeds have six syncro rings
and are not synchronized in reverse. The 5 speeds have three shafts and are
shifted onto 5th, high/low or AWD by a series of vacuum actuated valves.
KM200 / FM Series: Aluminum 2-piece case with a rear cover on the back of the
case. The 5 speeds have five syncro rings unless they have synchronized reverse.
The 1st and 2nd syncro rings are different from each other. These units have
three shafts.
