Original Equipment (OE) high quality ring and pinion sets in various ratios, high quality bearing rear end overhaul kits including pinion bearings, pinion seal, crush sleeve, pinion
nut, shims, ring gear bolts, marking compound and gasket. This differential is manufactured
in three different configuraions, Dana 70, Dana 70U utility, and Dana 70HD heavy
duty version.
This differential was utalized in Dodge truck series one ton trucks prior to
1974. Ford applications F-350prior to 1974. GM used this very popular differential
prior to 1974. Our inventory includes ring gear and pinion sets, including aftermarket
and OE gear sets. We are able to supply axles, bearing overhaul kits, carriers, cases,
spider and side gears.
Our inventory includes OE ring gear and pinion sets, bearing rebuild kits, internal parts kit (spider and side gears), positraction repair kits (clutch plates)and OE Positractions; Trac Loc & Power Loc. We are also able to supply axles, carriers, cases, both empty and loaded cases. Aftermarket Positraction units we offer include Lockrights by Powertrax,
Auburn, Detroit Lockers , and ARB air lockers.
We also offer Dana 28, 30, 35, 44 and 80 differential
parts.

The Dana/Spicer 70 axles are identified with a manufacturing
date (1) and Bill of Material number 1/8" high metal stamp (2) stamped
on the right or left hand tube on driving axles. The Bill of Material
number may also be found on the carrier in some models as shown in
illustration (2A). For independent front suspension (IFS) axles, the B/M
number may be located at one of three locations: 1). A vertically
positioned tag near the center of the right 
hand side support arm, 2) stamped into the left hand side support arm
(opposite end of the camber adjuster), or 3) stamped into the "nose end"
of the axle carrier. The location of the information will depend on the
manufacturing date of the axle. The axle model number will be cast
into one of the webs as shown (3), or it can be on the nose. Each axle
contains a gear ratio tag (4), and if the axle is equipped with a
limited slip differential, it will have a tag specifying the type of
limited slip lubricant to be used (5).
