The early model transfer cases 1999-2000 and some of the 2001 units did not have an oil delivery hole thru the main shaft to deliver oil thru the center of the main shaft to the range hub and range fork area causing a lot of failure among the early unit with burnt up forks and range hubs. The updated or newer shafts had an oil galley hole thru the center of the shaft that delivers oil thru the center to a oil hole in the range hub and lubes the range fork pads.  We provide the parts to fix this problem .
