IDENTIFICATION - RWD all aluminum case and top cover, end loaded transmission with a flat rectangular 4-bolt inspection cover on top of the case. Light duty 5 speed fully synchronized. The shifter is mounted on the top of the extension housing. The cluster gear is supported by tapered bearings in the front and rear by a needle bearing in the center. Reverse gears are helical-cut. New process casting is on side of case.
