IDENTIFICATION - Aluminum bottom loaded case with a 14-bolt ribbed aluminum bottom cover. The 5 speed has an intermediate housing and a rear bearing retainer plate between the case and the extension housing. Fully synchronized in forward gears only. Check engagement teeth when ordering syncro ring kits and input shafts. This page is for Ford vehicles only.
