Nissan FS5W71 Manual Transmission Bearing Kit Different overhaul kits are available:

DTSBK Kits includes main case bearings, gaskets and seals, this kit contains no syncro rings.
DTSBKXXXWS Kits: Main case bearings, gaskets, seals and syncro rings.

Nuts, dogs & wires, thrust bearings, extension housing bushings are sold separately. You can identify this series transmission by its aluminum end loaded case with integral bell housing (not removable part of the case) and a 5-bolt front bearing retainer. The F4W71B: 4 Speed has a 52mm O.D. front countershaft bearing. F4W71C: 4 Speed with 52mm O.D. front countershaft bearing. FS5W71A: 5 Speed with 63/22 front countershaft bearing. These units in 1974-79 had a steel 5th gear syncro ring. FS5W71B: 5 Speed with 63/22, B22-19 or 22BC0659X front countershaft bearing. Early units have a steel 5th gear syncro ring. FS5W71C: 5 Speed with B22-19UR or 22BC065SX front countershaft bearing. An illustrated drawing of the FS5W71C is provided.
