IDENTIFICATION - Aluminum 2-piece case with a round 6-bolt cover in the rear case half. Ball bearing on the front input shaft with a caged needle in the rear input shaft. Some 1991-ON trans axles may or may not have a Viscous Differential carrier (LSD).
FN4F30A/RS5F30A: Front & rear pinion bearings are tapered and have the same inside diameter. RN4F31A/RS5F31A: Front & rear bearings are tapered and have different diameters. RS532A/V: Front pinion bearing is a cylindrical roller bearing and the rear is a ball bearing.
