NP435 Manual Transmission Parts

Need NP435 manual transmission parts or overhaul kits?  We provide quality New Process NP435 manual transmission parts typically used in Chevrolet and GMC 1964 thru 1972 Pickups and Vans.  Dodge used this transmission between1963-1985 in the following 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350, 1500, 2500, 3500 Series Light Trucks.  NP435 units were installed in Fords 1964-1985, F-Series, E- Series Van and Bronco's.  International's from 1964to 1985 Pickup and Travel-all's and the Plymouth Trailduster's requiring a 4 speed.

Different overhaul kits are available, the contents of the kits are:

  • Kits with Main case bearings, gaskets, seals are identified by part number starting DTSBKXXX Kits

  • Kits with Main case bearings, gaskets, seals and syncro rings are identified by part number starting DTSBKXXXWS.

To identify your NP435 4spd compare with this physical description iron case, aluminum top cover.  "Granny-Low" top loaded, tower shift pickup truck transmission with cast iron case and rectangular aluminum top cover.  Main bearings may be ball or tapered. This transmission is non-synchronized in 1st gear but is synchronized in 2nd through 4th gears. The Syncro are aluminum ring/pin assemblies and the 3rd/4th syncro have outer "pie plates". Brass syncro rings are not available.  The NP435 will have a casting number of C-9XXXX.
